Dr. K. B. Otabil, the head of the NeTroDis research group has been awarded the prestigious small grant from the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and the National Institute for Health Research, UK. The grant is to enable Dr. K.B. Otabil and his research team to carry out research on feasibility of integrating IgG4- based rapid tests into onchocerciasis surveillance programmers in Ghana. The research is currently ongoing and is expected to be completed by September, 2021.
